The Federation has come across numerous life-forms over the years. Some of them have become members of the Federation...some of them haven't. All of them have had an impact on the Star Trek universe. Here are some of the more popular ones. If you have a question about a race that I haven't mentioned here, please send me an E-mail, and I will do my best to help.

As I was gathering information about the different races here, I realized that there is a LOT of information on some of them! Because of that, I didn't write down as much as I would have liked. What I plan to do in the near future is redo the page using alien races that aren't as common. I'm doing this for two reasons: 1) to help you with your understanding of the less popular races and 2) to cut down on my typing time! I thought you would understand that last one!
