Almost nothing is known about the current management of the CST. Its executive and present board of directors are a secret so well-kept that even the most extensive research of the vast array of online information turns up virtually empty. The only name that is known is that of the president, otherwise undocumented scientologist named Russell Bellin.
Its trustees, special directors and other officials may be unchanged from when it was originally founded, or may be entirely different - there are no available records from later than 1992, when the corporation last ventured out of the shadows during the landmark case CST vs. IRS.
To understand the current organization, then, it is necessary to go back to its roots, and study the evolution of its mandate, as well as the personalities that played a role in its foundation, growth and current status.
