During an idle moment on IRC the other day as we awaited reports from
picketers far and near, a question arose that, once asked, I simply couldn't
get out of my mind.

In the early eighties, the aftermath of what was arguably the cult's most
audacious attempt at intelligence skullduggery, Operation Snow White,
resulted in the conviction and imprisonment of no fewer than eleven top-ranking
scientologists.

A decade later I can't help but wonder -- just where are the "GO 11" today?
How many served their time, only to return to the fold, martyrs for the cause?
And, nore intriguingly ... how many didn't go back? (And what stories could
they tell?)

These and other questions led me to start my own little recon project, and I
can't think a better place to launch my search for information than right here
on alt.religion.scientology, the virtual tabletop on which (as one dearly
missed poster put it) one of the biggest jigsaw puzzles of our times is being
patiently assembled, piece by piece.

What I'm asking for is this: anyone with information on where these folks are
today, please post it to this thread, or -- if you feel more comfortable --
send it to me via email, anonymous or not, whatever you desire. Any sightings
-- or even rumours of sightings -- are eagerly sought.

My goal is to eventually put together a Where Are They Now webpage, the
purpose of which would be two-fold. First, it would allow the sceptics amongst
us to ensure that, as CoS officials assure us, the miscreants have been
expunged from the organization. And secondly, in the cases where they have --
perhaps someday, one of these individuals might want to unburden their
conscience about those heady days of inflitration and imagined international
intrigue, and provide a few more pieces of the puxxle.
