| Lunch near the Watchtower |
This is where we ate lunch, near the Watchtower. The Watchtower is a rock formation towering over the valley
we hiked earlier. Couldn't actually clib onto the watchtower itself but the trail flattened out right next to it, making
a nice place for a lunch break.

| Overlooking the Watchtower |
Above is a shot of Anne is the same position as in the picture above this one, with the watchtower formation
just beyond and to the left of where she is sitting. Doesn't look nearly as dominating as it did from the valley floor.

After lunch we continued on up the Watchtower Trail to Heather Lake, the first of three lakes on the Lakes Trail,
which the Watchtower Trail is a part of. As usual, Anne is ten car lengths ahead of me.
Anne beside Heather Lake. This is as far as we went on the Lake Trail, returning to the trail head
by way of the "Hump Trail", still part of the Lake Trail. Behind the camera and to the left was the three sided
privy referred to in the log on the home page.
