Famous Stewpots of the Outlands
Well, all right, these aren't pots for the cooking of food, but for the
stewing of the cooks. A relaxing soak in a tub of hot water (plain
or with minerals) is just the thing after a long, hard day in the kitchen.
Members of The Stewpot have taken on the onerous task of searching out
these oases of hot water in The Outlands. Here are a few of our favorites:
-
Ten Thousand Waves.
Japanese-style spa located in the mountains near Drygestan (Santa Fe, NM).
Our favorite place to go for post-feast pampering.
-
Indian Springs.
Mineral water hot springs located in Idaho Springs, CO, about an hour west
of Caerthe (Denver, CO). Bathe in the warm mineral pool, or enjoy
a private hot tub. Your skin will feel soft for days.
-
Hot Sulphur Springs.
Numerous pools of mineral water ranging in temperature from tepid to Chernobyl
(well, not quite) dot the side of a hill in Hot Sulphur Springs, CO.
This mountain resort is located about two and a half hours west of Caerthe
(Denver, CO).
