The Birkin stock mirrors are from a Yamaha trail bike. They are quite solid and do their job but (in my opinion) don't fit the car's 50's style very well. I replaced them with old fashioned bullet racing mirrors.

The Lexan half doors/wind deflectors help reducing wind buffeting and gravel showers. Not sure yet about rain protection....

The removal of the spare wheel carrier also required the installation of a new licence plate holder. For better looks I integrated 10 white LED as license plate lighting into the frame.
