Here, we are highlighting some of the excellent
businesses and organizations offering services to the North Merritt Island area.
Some of these businesses and organizations have
been in the area for some time...others are new enterprises and looking to support the North Merritt Island community
in various ways.
The Causeway Diner
is nearly opposite the Sunset Lakes SR 3 entrance. Their food
and service is excellent and breakfast is served 24 hours. We highly recommend this great neighborhood eatery.
Another great business that has a sterling reputation
is TCB Property Management.
This is a full service property management service that is just beginning in Brevard County. These are valuable services
and Certified Property Manager Sharon Lockamy is eager to "Take Care
of Business" for communities in the North Merritt Island area. Check out their site at http://www.tcbproperty.com.
The North Merritt Island Homeowners Association, is a non-profit association representing all the homeowners
from the Barge Canal to the Kennedy Space Center, has generously donated judges, trophies and ribbons for the 2002 and 2004
Sunset Lakes Christmas Home Decor Event. We are all eligible to join this fine organization that fights for the rights
of all NMI residentes. Their meetings are at 7:oo p.m. at the Stl Luke's Church Social Hall at 5555 North
Tropical Trail on the first Monday of each month except December.
Of course, we wish to graciously acknowledge the great kindness
and generosity of the Merritt Island
Moose Lodge and Grace Lutheran Church
of North Merritt Island, who have allowed our association to meet in their facilities free of charge on numerous occasions
from 2002 through 2004. (We now donate to these organizations for the use of their facilities.)
These are organizations with true community spirit. We all try to support those businesses who share in our vision of a collaborative
and cooporative community of good neighbors helping one another.
