Advanced Property Management (APM) is the current Property Mangement Company for this community and generally manages the affairs of the community.
Although the Board of Directors is primarily responsible for
the fiscal and operational of the community and directs the management company to act, it may be helpful for the residents
of Sunset Lakes/Island Estates to also call APM about concerns involving safety, landscaping, maintenance and
issues, as well as perceived violations. An email to APM provides members proof of the date of communication.
The President of Advanced Property Management is Mr. Van Moore,
CAM. Mr. Moore assigns property managers to individual properties at intervals. Mr. Moore may be reached at 321-636-4889
or vanapm@cfl.rr.com. Email may be the tool of choice for communication with APM (with a courtesy copy to the Board of Directors, as
always helpful).
This management company provides the "official" Sunset
Lakes HOA website as a secure password protected website through the management service at www.advancedproperty.org or slhoa.com. Contact APM or a member of the board or a neighbor for the username and password
to access the budgetary and financial information on this site. This website product is part of their management
service package and is included in our monthly services.
GATE PHONE DIRECTORY: New residents must request to
be added to the gate phone directory at the SL main entrance. Please call APM for this service.
REMOTE CONTOLS:
Our Property Management Company must verify your residence in the Sunset Lakes (including Island Estates) Community before
you receive a free remote control to access the privacy gates of our community. Once you have
been verified as a resident, you may pick up a remote from a designated location. There used to be one free remote per
home and additional ones were $30, but now it appears there is a $30 charge for each.
When a resident sells their home, the remotes are not included with the home. They
must be returned to the Advanced Property Management for reprograming. If they are not returned, the
resident may be charged at closing for any outstanding remotes, and these remotes may be electronically blocked
from the system.
