  1. Special cards for special cards of similar rarity and common cards for common cards of similar rarity.

It takes several boxes to complete the entire set-- making this is an expensive, but beautiful card set. The plastic sticker insert is found in the middle layer of each seal puzzle. Simply peel the top layer to reveal the insert and card image. Seal puzzles, when peeled, contain variant images of the goddesses and their angels on all four sides of the card, creating a nice four image puzzle.

    The paper inserts could be mailed for a special 9 card Washi set. One had to collect 16 inserts which spelled: CARDCAPTOR SAKURA. Sadly, several letters were rare. However, the Chihiro card could be used as a 'trump'-- simply fill in a letter you did not have. Therefore, it was very useful to have several Chihiro paper inserts. Although the cards were only mailed within Japan, this present was easier obtain than CCS Movie01's prize, but you still had to buy many boxes and trade with many people. ^_^

    Paper insert vs. Box insert:

    PAPER INSERTS are found in each trading card pack (one per pack).
    Paper inserts are somewhat collectible.. especially if they are illustrated and/or there are several types to collect (ex. CCS Chapter and CCS Movie sets). Depending on the TC series, paper inserts serve various functions such as:

    1. Advertisments for merchandise.
      There may be several types to collect (ex. Sailormoon Hero Collection series).
    2. Checklist
      Information is provided in checklist format so a collector knows how many cards are in the set.
    3. Mail-away present (lottery type)
      Answer the questionnare and mail it in before the deadline for a chance to win the advertised present. The present is always limited in quantity, so the odds of winning the present is lottery based. The questionnare almost always asks (a) how the TC company can improve their future TC card sets (b) how you liked the current TC set (c) your favorite character in the set (d) how many packs/boxes you bought.
    4. Mail-away present (non-lottery type)
      Enclose the appropriate amount of inserts as stated, answer the survey (if one is provided), include the proper amount of japanese stamps for return postage to your country, and mail them in before the deadline.
      Note: Some TC companies will not ship mail-away presents if you live outside of Japan, so read the insert carefully for this disclaimer.

    BOX INSERTS are found in each box (one per box).
    Not all TC series have box inserts. The purpose of box inserts is to promote customers to buy boxes rather than single card packs. Depending on the TC series, a box insert can be a:

    1. Folded poster
      (ex. Rurouni Kenshin and CCS Carddass Masters)
    2. Sticker
      Usually a binder sticker to place on the spine of a trading binder (ex. Inuyasha Carddass Masters)
    3. POP (die-cut advertisment insert)
      Like box cards, there can be several types; therefore, a collector may need to buy several boxes to obtain the entire POP set (ex. AMG Mini-Goddess and FMA Photo Collection).
    4. Box card
      They are trading card size and are highly collectible because a TC set may have several box cards (usually 3 types); therefore, a collector will need to buy several boxes to obtain the entire box card set (ex. Ah My Goddess).
