I guess since the love interest in episode 6 is a nice, sweet girl, they needed a different character to be the bitch, and thus the Sponsor enters the picture. Her job is basically to invade the animation studio and yell at everyone, although she looks good doing it. Like most of the backgrounds in this episode, this one shows another view of the studio.
