Chie, the love interest of Episode 6, is particularly sought after by cel collectors because she works as an animator. So in the background, we get to see a lot of stuff about cels being made, which of course is very cool. Although I suppose it didn't take as much creativity from the artists, they could probably just look around their desks and draw whatever they saw. And oh, by the way, Chie is extremely cute. I also like having Kintaro in the cel with her, even though his back is turned you can get a good idea of the interaction between them. I was rather surprised one day when browsing cel galleries to find something that looked at first glance exactly like this cel on another collector's site. Not that it's unheard of to find cels from the same sequence at different places, but this person had the background too. And this was a respected and knowledgable person, not some fly-by-night image stealer. I took a closer look and came to the conclusion that my background was a copy (although a good one), but that my cels were different from the other collector's and therefore legit. I'm not complaining too much, I think the background here really makes the cel so I can understand why it would be copied.
