I didn't think Plastic Little was all that gratuitous, but I guess some people do. Overall I thought it was entertaining. From a cel standpoint, I wasn't particularly interested in Tita or the other girl (although I did kind of like the medic character, I was looking for a cel of her for a while and maybe I'll start again), but I thought Balboa was cool as a brooding but eventually dependable kind of guy. The interesting thing about this cel is that it's 4 or 5 layers, all for one character. I haven't tried to disassemble it to see exactly how many or what each layer is, but it looks like his eye, eyebrow, body, and bits of hair are all on their own layers. Sometime I'll have to watch the scene again to try to figure out exactly what they were trying to do.
