This is from OVA episode 2, and if I had one Ayeka wishlist sequence, it would be this one. When she's sad like this, she becomes a lot more sympathetic, and so even when she gets annoying later on, I can still feel sorry for her and hope things work out for her (and we know she's not going to end up with Tenchi, so I just want her to find someone else that she can be happy with). This scene really shows that side of her character better than any other I can think of. Another thing I like, and this applies to the Tenchi series in general, is that they aren't totally locked in to any character's appearance. Unlike many shows, in Tenchi they change outfits, hairstyles, etc. without losing any of the characters' identities. This scene in particular, since it was the first time that Ayeka took her hair out of her normal two-tailed style, it just made the character more alive for me, and I thought that was cool.
