This is a nice closeup of Mireille from episode 10, but besides being a nice cel it came with all kinds of fun stuff. First of all, a matching background which is sadly under-utilized because only a small corner is visible in the scene. Then a sequence of five B-layer cels (the hair) to go with one A-layer cel (her head). Basically, in this scene she hears a noise behind her and turns around, so the first few A-layer cels would be of her turning around. Then with this cel, the A-layer end, there are 5 cels of hair swishing. And I have the whole set (the hair part, not the whole turning around part). I've never really been looking to collect a sequence of cels, but in this case I think it's pretty cool, since the hair cels wouldn't be too useful on their own. And being the obsessive person that I am, I had to scan the setup with each different hair layer. So below you can see my first attempt at home-brewed aninmation.
