The reason for writing Getting to Know God,

the reason for the existence of a Christian

is that:

More people become more like Christ,

24 hours a day,  7 days a week,

Beginning with Me!

I will begin right now giving 100% of myself

and trust in the Holy Spirit, who indwells me, 

to teach, inspire, and empower me

to be more like Christ.

May this motto become your motivation

for personally encountering God in these pages!

And if from that encounter you are changed

and begin to become more like Christ,

may the above motto become your reason

for spreading Getting to Know God,

to your friends and small groups.

Your personal withness to it

as an effective, transforming spiritual discipline. 

May spreading Getting To Know God

that our God indeed speaks personally to us

that God is speaking personally to each of us
