HOLIDAY PARTY-2006
What a ball! As always
our Holiday Party was a blast!!
On December 2 some 100 Skihawks and guests met at the Fort Lewis Golf
Club to drink, eat, dance, and begin to celebrate the Holiday
season. Each table was beautifully decorated with handmade
centerpieces, artistically done by Susan Wertz. The spacious room
was warm (not like last year when the furnace wasn’t working) and
decorated with a large Christmas tree and poinsettias.
We were dressed in our best bib and tucker—sequins and sparkles
everywhere.
Among the best attired were Sandi Braget in her Victoria Secret dress
and underthings, and Guy Moyer in his tux. Of course,
Bettie and Paul Westcott looked good on and off the dance floor.
Dinner was a three-entrée delight—beef tips, chicken cordon
bleu, and salmon--along with delicious side dishes and salad.
D.J.’s of Tacoma provided the music. Everybody wanted to dance,
so there was dancing all over the room. Our D.J. did a good job
of mixing up the music, but he stopped too early—the party was going
strong.
Sandee Minor indicated we won’t have to wait until next Christmas to
have another dinner and dance. We will have another party
in the spring and then again in the fall. Horray!
