Vendange

California Autumn Harvest

$7.00

Eric's Rating:
5.50 grapes.

On the label:
"The grape harvest, Vendange (Von-donj) in French, is a time of excitement and anticipation."

"If recorked securely, it may be enjoyed up to a week." - and we are offering swamp land in the everglades you may be interested in as well. E.C.

I drank this wine while staying at the Airport Best Western in Albuquerque, NM. I did not do a good job of removing the cork and was forced to hammer it into the bottle. Therefore, the wine was sampled out of a tiny plastic cup with little bits of cork floating about.

It wouldn't make any difference what you drank this wine out of, it is uniformly mediocre. It it were a car it would be a Ford Fiesta. It has nothing to distinguish it except to say that it is not too terrible in any one department.

Here is what Consumer Reports says:

"Simpler, less balanced, lighter-bodied, less fruity than most. Very slightly bitter. Has a trace of rubbery odor. Drink it now."
