Like a deep, dark, forest.

On the label:

"At St. Francis, we constantly seek ways to improve our wines. To that end, we are convinced that synthetic corks provide a superior closure, even though the change to this approach is more expensive. This closure prevents the spoilage so common in wines that use bark corks. Since 1992 we have used synthetic closures ensuring our customers a more enjoyable wine drinking experience. The two-pronged wine opener should not be used with this type of closure."

Very dark in appearance. This is a lusty, boisterous cabernet with deep forest aromas. I had visions of tiny cottages with burbling brooks and grumpy dwarves - similar in appearance to Lockheed employees.

A decent wine with good body and texture. Dark, mysterious, fruity sensations. Does not bear up well the second day.
