A fair slurp for a fair price. On the label: "Domaine Saint George wines are skillfully crafted at our Sonoma county winery. This classic Cabernet Sauvignon has black cherry aromas and rich flavors combined with notes of vanilla oak; it is soft on the palete, with a smooth finish." Domaine Saint George home page. Your hopes can't be too high when you spend $5.88 for a bottle of wine. This wine has acceptable characteristics for the price. It is smooth but has very little body. The flavors are muted to the point of non-existence. |
