You get what you pay for sometimes.

On the label:
"The word Anapamu means Rising Place in the native american Chumash language. This medium-full wine has a ripe, cherry-like center with notes of plum, cedar and toasty oak in its finish."

I was a little dubious at spending ten whole dollars for a bottle of wine. Would it make a difference? In this case, yes. This is a truly yummy wine from Monterey County. Complex and satisfying with multiple flavors going off like Japanese firecrackers in that big mouth of yours.

Highly recommended.
