The Mesa

Like the Cooper, the Mesa was within walking distance from my house. I went to many an afternoon matinee here. It had a balcony from which unruly children sailed airplanes constructed from their popcorn boxes. Occasionally candy or spit would rain down depending on the circumstances.

Once I was falsely accused by an usher of throwing "cracker balls" on the floor of the theater during the movie. It was true that I had "cracker balls" on my possession, but I was not the one throwing them on the floor. I do not approve of disrupting the sanctity of a movie.
