"It took two detectives about 10 minutes to find little three year old Eric "Ricky" Carlson of 155 N. Beech after receiving the report he was lost yesterday, but returning him to his home presented more of a problem."

"The detectives, John Piper and Ray Dannigan of the Casper Detective Bureau were patroling in the area of the Commissary on E. Yellowstone when they saw Ricky in the alley behind the building where there is some construction work going on."

"Ricky was just standing there "sidewalk superintending" the construction work when the two detectives walked up to him and tried to get him into their car to take him home."

"Piper, who is known as "Big John" at the police station and who is the biggest man on the force proceeded to lift Ricky into the car, but Ricky would have none of it and literally bit the hand that was helping him."

"After they got Ricky safely home to his parents, Piper remarked that it was the first time anyone had ever bitten him and gotten away with it."

"They are saying around the police station that Rickey had done something that no other man in Casper would dare do."

"What's the secret Ricky"?
