Individual Talk Therapy:
(for children, adolescents and adults
ego-supportive/cognitive/ psychodynamic/expressive)
 
Art Therapy:
(provided individually or in group format)
Art therapy is a helpful adjunct to individual talk therapy for people who want a deeper understanding of their unconscious conflicts, please see 'link' called, 'What is Art Therapy' for a more detailed description of this service. (Art therapy is covered by health insurance policies under the rubric of  'psychotherapy)
 
Group Therapy:
(issue focused groups for children, adolescents and adults)

Adolescent Self Esteem Group
Social Skills Group for Pre-Adolescents
Traumatic Brain Injury Therapy Group or 'TBI Group"
Art Therapy Workshop for Adults in Mid-Life

Play Therapy for Children:
(May be issue-focused, ego-supportive, psychodynamic or
used for strictly evaluative purposes)
play therapy is generally helpful for recovery from emotional trauma, adjustment and self-esteem issues
 
Family Therapy:
focused upon promoting effective communication
and improving personal interactions, for two or more family members at a time. (Must provide an 'identified patient' should you wish to file insurace for this service).
 
Hypnotherapy:
for children, adolescents and adults
(this service is typically covered by insurance companies under the rubric of 'psychotherapy').
 
Parent Coordination Services:
Dr. Parks is a Certified Parent Coordinator in Orange County, N.C. Divorced couples are referred by the court system to work on co-parenting issues. These services are not generally covered by insurance.

Neurocognitive (more precise measures for ADHD, brain injuries and specific learning disabilities)
