ME
Oooh
how I hate pictures of me. I just don't think they come out right! But
oh well, some people who come here haven't seen me since I was...ohhh
in my early 20's and with that jackrabbit metabolism that kept my weight
down but my emotions always at a boiling point. These days I'm much
more mellow and I look outwards much more than inwards (if that makes
sense). I am still vain, though, which means that putting pictures of
myself up still feels like getting up in front of a large crowd and
pulling my pants down. Here goes nothing! zzzzzzzzzzzip!

Yes,
it's freaky...since I documented this musical with my digital
camera, I allowed myself to be photographed. We took some candids
and then some promotional pics for the rock band in the musical.
The one on the left is just me waiting for a fellow actor during
a walk through of a scene, and the one on the right is one of
our band photos.

This
is a picture of me in my band days, back when Matteson and the
Reasons took the stage for Matteson's 30th birthday (well, soon
after). Oh, I still look like this, maybe without the trendy facial
hair (okay, as I write this, I have facial hair that I have to
shave in a week for a play), but nevertheless, that's me. With
a sleeveless shirt on. Next to people who are, for the moment,
nameless. Lance and Michael. (John was either not there, or he
didn't bring his muscle shirt, which would have been funny) |

Ahhh
youth is ignorance, and ignorance is bliss. I don't know how old
I was in these two pictures, but I do know now that I was busy
at work on what I would become today in theater. The stuff I was
doing then...and learning (especially in that first picture on
the left)...make me laugh because it's totally responsible for
my quirkiness and sense of humor now. Boy, I was a happy kid.
That table on the left is a piano bench that now sits in my sister's
house in Miami. I don't think I was wearing any pants in that
picture on the right. |

| Need
I explain who's in all of the pictures below? Named after an adventurous
character created by Mark Twain, Finn makes me smile every day.
She's slowly learning how to speak English, and she does her share
of cleaning up around the house, but if you've ever met her, you
wouldn't know she was once a stray. Doesn't she make you feel
all fuzzy and warm inside? |
