LINKS

Ahh back in the 80's and early 90's, when personal home pages were a dime a dozen (now they go for about a hundred bucks, I guess), the Links page was an obligatory nod to people who had linked to them. Who used to end up on personal link pages? People you met in chat rooms, mostly, and not necessarily on AOL chat boards or any of the fancy shmancy java enabled ones, either. We used to chat on BBS's, through programs like mIRC and through MOOs and MUCKs where we were animals and cartoon characters. Now, my focus is different. These are people who really inspire me:

The Amazing Brooke Ramel

Brooke is a special talent that should not be overlooked. I was fortunate to stumble onto her music while she was performing at Citywalk last year, and I've been a devoted fan ever since. You need to check out her music. Her songwriting and performing talents along with her beautiful voice definitely leave an impression. She is a valuable and supportive friend to have.

No, I'm not the boss...it's Stewboss!

My good friend Jano (pronounced "yonno") is the drummer for Stewboss, an up and coming band that's currently returning to Europe for another tour. Discover this band and be the first among your friends to become a fan! They just appeared on Mark & Brian!

Andie May!

Andie and I used to do theater back in our humble Valley College days, where she dated my best friend. As it turns out, Valley College was just one quick stop on the way to fame - she just got done with the European tour of HAIR and is now establishing a huge rep on the New York indie music scene with her band. The thing I love most about her music is that I can still hear her smile when she sings. I swear, you can hear it.
