I've done a lot of stuff in PowerPoint for many different kinds of meetings, both serious and a little more on the entertaining side. When I found myself needing to animate stuff in PowerPoint and then running into the issue of things hitching up because of the memory needed to do that on a computer, I started looking for other options.
Fairly soon, this will eventually give way to short films. It's the most logical evolution, don't you think?
