ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY

Stephen
Barry was born in New York City and studied painting at Boston University, The
Boston Museum School and The Art Students League of New York. After working as
an art director in New York City, Mr. Barry moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where
he painted commissioned portraits and taught painting and drawing at the
Institute of American Indian Arts. He has won numerous awards and competitions
and has recently moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area where he continues to paint
portraits and scenes from his many travels. He is currently represented by
Galerie Kornye West in Fort Worth, Texas, and Editions Gallery in Santa Fe, New
Mexico.
