NEWS!

NEW WEBSITE IN DEVELOPMENT: Check it out

March 2009: New Videos: I'm dropping a new video every day. Old ones too. Too much coffee. Facebook is full of 'em at this point. FunkeyMonkeys videos, of course, absurd shorts, new music videos to stuff we've been working on in the studio. Check 'em out!here.

2008-2009: Great Artists / Bands: I have been producing, recording and playing with some of Brooklyn's hottest musicians and bands. Most in the funk, afrobeat, soul, jazz, classical, electronic, world modes, as opposed to the ubiquitos indie rock/singer-songwriter stuff. Success I think. Much more to come.Check out the funky tunes here.

3/08: Josh's Short Film "Kung Fluid": I finally got around to putting online some short films I did around 2000-2001 before the advent of YouTube. This one was inspired by a Bruce Lee documentary and was made just as I started taking Kung Fu. Notice how weak and girlyman-like I am. It's pretty ridiculous. WATCH VIDEO

10/07: FunkeyMonkeys Go Off-Broadway : My All-Star Kids Band begin a run at Off-Broadway's Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square, NYC.

8/07: "Holy Crap" Song Featured on Showtime: A song I wrote with my Centralia brothers for the 2002 Fringe Festival show "Generica" has been licensed by the Showtime Network and is being used as the centerpiece of their On-Air Promo campaign entitled, ‘The Best Shit on Television’, featuring a montage from the Original Series: Weeds, Dexter, the Tudors, and others, in what may be the first R-rated ad campaign in the history of American Television. And I'm singing on it! WATCH PROMO SPOT WARNING: CONTAINS AUDIO PROFANITY

4/07: I have possessed Elmo: I've started writing music for Fisher-Price toys. So the next time you squeeze the finger of a doll and hear a 10-second loop that seems especially lush and funky, it might be mine. Tumblin' Tigger, Elmo's Restaurant, Ba Ba Baby Elmo, Rockin Guitar Elmo, Mr. Men and Bedtime Abby, to name a few. Collaborators include the great: Stuart Bogie, Eric Biondo, Brian Carter, Tim Allen, Ian Fry, PJ Boeckel and Carey White. :)
