One Way! Dead End! Stop and Go!

It would be so easy, Lord,

With signs along my way,

For me Your will to know.

Road Work! Speed Bump! Curves Ahead!

Just a sign or two from You,

Guiding along my way,

Would show it's You that led.

Caution! Slippery When Wet!

Signs You give for warning me,

Going along my way,

As daily trials are met.

Icy Roads! Narrow Bridge! Slow!

Signs to order faltering steps,

Going along my way

Following the path You show.

By Your Spirit! By Your Word!

Not by signs my eyes can see,

You lead along my way,

Because You are my Lord!

Always may You be my Guide

Whatever my days may hold,

Until along my way

Is ever by Your side.
