A couple of co-workers lead me to believe that this was a fucking phenomenal film. They were wrong. It is just another reality TV piece of shit. For Ewan and Charley I am sure it was one hell of a trip. For the rest of us, Long Way Round is just another piece of shit reality TV series that happens to be about motorcycles. I mean, I've rode a chopper across loose gravel and freshly plowed fields. What is compelling about a couple of pampered British actors braving life in the real world?

Honestly, I envy these two bikers, but their trip isn't the great adventure I was lead to believe it was. I'd follow in their tire prints on 40 inches over and a rigid frame any day of the week if someone else was buying the food and fuel.

There is nothing better than a ride on the chopper on a warm and sunny autumn day. Today I had to settle for a wet and windy fall night. Not that such a ride is bad, but I definitely prefer the former if given a choice.
