Linda Mitchell, Certified Massage Therapist

Services Designed Especially for You!

Massage: a hands-on therapy. Used to stimulate soft tissue to improve the health and well being of the body. Different techniques are used to reduce tension and induce relaxation, while applying gentle to deeper pressure in order to meet your needs.

Prenatal massage: designed to help reduce the stress that is put on the expectant mom. Common physical and emotional discomforts may include backache, constipation, fatigue, varicose veins, headaches, leg cramps and insomnia.  It is also a very nurturing experience for both mom and fetus.

Reiki means “universal life force energy”.  It is a laying-on of hands to direct energy through the therapist to the client in order to reduce stress and create a sense of relaxation.  Reiki clears energy blockages in the body and facilitates the body's natural healing processes.  It is used to support healing in acute and chronic conditions such as digestive disorders, allergies, asthma, headaches, arthritis and insomnia.  Reiki eases mental distress and promotes emotional healing as well as facilitating healing of wounds and broken bones.

Therapeutic Touch (TT): Hands-on healing and used in conjunction with medical treatment to detect weakened or congested areas in the body's energy field, re balancing the affected areas.  TT promotes relaxation and uses the body's natural healing abilities to reduce tension and decrease anxiety.

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the cranial sacral system.  It encourages the body's own natural healing mechanisms to dissipate negative effects of stress on the central nervous system, while also allowing for a strong sense of well-being and resistance to disease.

Somatic-Emotional Release: a therapeutic process that helps rid the mind and body of residual effect of past trauma (both physically and/or emotional).  Often times the body will hold information that has followed a trauma known as an “energy cyst”.  A session will help the client to physically identify and expel the energy cyst through re-experiencing and resolving unpleasant incidents.

Couples Massage is done in the comfort of your home with two therapists.

Equine Cranial Sacral Therapy It is recommended that Cranial Sacral Therapy sessions be done no less than 48-72 hours prior to a show.

Equine Cranial Sacral Therapy is applied to horses providing a gentle, non-invasive method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the animal's own natural healing mechanisms. It is used to dissipate negative effects of stress on the central nervous system, while also allowing for a strong sense of well-being and resistance to disease.

The benefits of Equine Cranial Sacral Therapy include: enhanced performance, flushed toxins from muscles and joints, improved disposition, increased blood and lymph circulation, increased oxygen flow, injury prevention, joint flexibility, maintenance of muscle tone, recovery from skeletal and muscular surgery/injury, reduced muscle spasm, release of endorphins, relief from arthritis, hip dysplasia, lameness, and muscle pain, stimulated healing and stress reduction/relief.
