A wry confrontation about language. In this ironic little comedy, two friends meet for lunch in an empty cafe. Easy-going and earnest, David (Doug Engalla) innocently provokes a philosophical discourse on the use and abuse of language by the pedantic and slightly self-righteous Andrew (Ludwig Manukian). The tables are turned when Andrew, touchy and quick to ire, succumbs to the use of the very language he decries under the pressure of minor irritations caused by the distracted wait-staff. Inspired by My Dinner with Andre, this is a rye - no, wry - comedy indeed.
