Memorize Psalms 119: 9 -- 11

9  Beth  How can a young man keep his way pure?  By living according to your word.
10  I seek you with all my heart;  do not let me stray from your commands. 
11  I have hidden your word in my heart  that I might not sin against you.

By having the Scripture in your heart we can experience victory over sin, and can please God in all areas of life.

As the apostle Paul said farewell to the leaders from emphasis, he committed them to God's care and reminded them that God's word "can build you up and give you an inheritance among those who are certified"  (Acts 20:32).  The Scriptures give us food for spiritual maturity, and prepare us for our eternity with God.
32  "Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
