ANSWERED PRAYER  24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. The enemy may put doubts in your mind concerning the effectiveness of prayer, these thoughts may be "you don't think God is personally interested in you? He is far away, and concerned about far more important things than little old you. Surely, he will not hear your prayers -- Much less answer them" But as Jesus Christ is your personal Lord, you have the unique privilege of speaking directly to your heavenly Father through him. God wants you to come confidently into his presence through Christ to talk to him about anything (Look up Philippians 4:6 and Hebrews 4:14 -- 16).
