 Who will you live your life for? What has first-place in your thoughts and plans? Jesus often challenged his disciples to consider their commitment to him and his kingdom. He said, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it" Luke 9: 23, 24 23 Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. Following him in this way may mean struggles and trials, but also the privilege of resting in Christ; "come to me," Jesus said, "all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest, take my yolk upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble infarct, and you will find rest for your soles, for my yolk is easy and my burden is light" Matthew 11:28 -- 30 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
