Scenes from the Torah Portion of the Week

Creating scenes from the Torah portion combines my love of Jewish study with my art. These paintings make a perfect Bar or Bat Mitzvah gift or a gift for other special occasions to adorn a Jewish home. Perhaps you have a saying or scene from the Torah that you would like depicted, or you would like me to choose one from the portion of the week. The scenes are painted fairly small in size, such as 16" by 20", to accommodate reasonably priced picture framing. For the paintings I work with gutta resist on heavy silk crepe or thickened dyes on silk broadcloth. Standard price of a small size painting is $100.00. You will receive the silk stretched onto foam core and ready for your own frame.
