The mountains featured on the page are The Heavenly Twins and St. Joseph's Peak, part of the Bitterroot Range in SW Montana. The photo was taken from my front porch; I live a lovely quiet life in the Bitterroot Valley in the company of a wonderful man and several cute (but not real bright) snakes, two of whom I hope will realize they are in fact a breeding pair! My pride and joy among the snakes may be viewed on www.petoftheday.com- and on the day he was posted, he was in fact acting as a professional guest at a science fiction convention--and still has his badge to prove it!
In my spare time I volunteer as a production assistant at the local community theater and may soon be teaching therapeutic sculpting to clients at a nearby counseling center. My non-art hobbies include role-playing games, watching CSI and bad movies, the CCG Magic: the Gathering, listening to various sorts of bad 80's music and an eclectic selection of other styles ranging from Maria Muldaur's swing-blues to Rammstein, and reading fiction (mostly of the forensics-based mystery type but with a healthy helping of science fiction/fantasy as well).
