The White Mountain Temple offers classes in Plumflower, Six Harmonies and Wah Lum Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu Systems. The Praying Mantis systems were designed as explosive and effective fighting styles based on the rapid leg and hand motions of the Praying Mantis. They are predominantly aggressive counterattack styles which include, various hand strikes, hooking, trapping and plucking techniques as well as numerous kicks and grappling moves.

The hallmark of the Plumflower and Six Harmonies Systems is the distinctive mantis footwork which originated in the Monkey Kung Fu System. The systems are known for rapid hand techniques, an aggressive constantly advancing pattern of footwork and medium to low kicking techniques.

Kung Fu Classes: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
7:00-8:00 PM & Open Training 6:00-7:00PM

The Wah Lum System uses more of the conventional Kung Fu footwork along with a series of flashing high and spinning kicks which were taken from the Tam Tui  System,  which was blended with the Elephant Trunk Mantis style by founder, Lee Kwan Shan to create the stunning Wah Lum Kung Fu System.

Along with the hand and foot techniques these styles offer forty weapons ranging from single and double edged swords to flexible and double weapons. There are also street modern weapons that can be used for everyday street protection as well as concealed carry.
