Our Stallions

We believe our stallions offer the very best in breeding for natural fox trot gait, gentle, people-loving dispositions and the athletic ability to excel in any discipline.  Gait is highly heiritable, and our horses are naturally gaited fox trotters because that is what they are bred to be.  The horses we produce were sired by our stallions, Sun Dust Rawhide and his son, Bobby Bluegrass

Sun Dust Rawhide #93-43359
"The Big Guy"

Sun Dust Rawhide - "The Big Guy"
By Sun Dust E. x Rawhide's Nancy Ann (Red Rawhide x Black Angel E.)

In Memory of Sun Dust Rawhide (1993-2007)

"The Big Guy" (standing a little over 16.0) was the foundation sire of our herd, and is the sire or grandsire of virtually all of our younger horses.  He was a very special stallion, and we loved him dearly.  Bred to be a show horse, he was an own son of the immortal Sun Dust E. and Rawhide's Nancy Ann (by Red Rawhide out of Black Angel E.).  In his show career, Sun Dust Rawhide was placed in the top five at the World Championship Show and Celebration in Ava, Missouri in 2-gait performance.  More important than that, he passed on to his get a beautiful, smooth and natural fox trot gait; a balanced and athletic conformation; and  a calm, people-loving disposition.   The Big Guy lives on in his many children and grandchildren.

Bobby Bluegrass #99-60581

Bobby Bluegrass

"Bob" is by Sun Dust Rawhide out of Missouri Millie (by Missouri Traveler E. out of Sun's Bonnie)   Bob stands 15.0 with perfect conformation for performance and bold, smooth and rhythmic natural fox trot and flat foot walk.  His Sun Dust  and Missouri Traveler breeding virtually guarantees a natural fox trot for his offspring.  We are so sure of this that we will offer a limited number of reduced fee breedings to registered Arabian mares for the best of both worlds - Arabian endurance and smooth fox trot gait.  In addition, he passes on a very kind, people-loving disposition, a beautiful small head and large, kind eye.  We plan to begin Bob's endurance riding career in 2010.  Stud Fee $350 to MFT mares, $250 to Arabian mares.
