scavok's BookCrossing Booklist 2004--2008 Titles

BookCrossing?  What is that?  Well, here's a great description, provided by the site's founder, Ron Hornbaker:

"It's a global book club that crosses time and space. It's a reading group that knows no geographical boundaries. Do you like free books? How about free book clubs?. Well, the books our members leave in the wild are free... but it's the act of freeing books that points to the heart of BookCrossing. Book trading has never been more exciting, more serendipitous, than with BookCrossing. Our goal, simply, is to make the whole world a library. BookCrossing is a book exchange of infinite proportion, the first and only of its kind."

Over at BookCrosssing.com, I'm known as "scavok."  It's a salute to the brilliantly crazy Ernie Kovacs, television pioneer and visionary. Ernie left us in 1962, and we still haven't quite caught up to him--he was so far ahead of his time!

We'll be releasing a lot of books in the wild, so if you see a book on a bench, a chair, or a table somewhere, it may be a BookCrossing book, waiting for someone to read it and help it along on its journey!

Please come on over and join us--BookCrossing is a wonderful worldwide online community!
