The Beau Justin Beasley Foundation

The Beau Justin Beasley Foundation

Our mission is to continue the Christian work practiced by our son, Beau, whose benevolence toward all exemplified the Christian qualities of love, generosity, forgiveness, kindness, and help. Beau was a mighty warrior for Christ, a good and faithful servant to God, and we want to honor him by perpetuating his name through this foundation. We plan to help support the needs of underprivileged children and animals, and to further the spread of  Christianity. We also want to increase awareness of the early signs of heart disease, as decribed in the paragraph below this one. Beau was only 36 years old, yet died suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack on February 18, 2017.

If only we, Beau, and his wife had known that Beau's heart was in dire need of help. He experienced the following symptoms over a period of several years:

chest pains (suggested by others as heart burn or indigestion)
shortness of breath after exertion (something Beau dismissed as a sign of his getting older)
and, as time passed,
episodes of severe chest pains the week before his massive heart attack, chest pains that subsided and therefore gave him a false sense that they were not that serious

As a result, on February 18, he had a heart attack and was able to drive to the hospital, but perished at the ER entrance. Now, his wife and children will not have him in their lives, and my husband and I will live with the worst torment that exists for a parent- the loss of their child.

Please, if you experience Beau's early symptoms of heart disease, take them extremely seriously and see a doctor. If, like Beau, you cannot afford health insurance and do not want to spend out-of-pocket for your own medical needs, think twice. It is too late for our son, but if you are reading this it is not too late for you or for someone you love.

The Beau Justin Beasley Foundation is seeking 501(c)3 status. If you would like to make a donation, please contact me, Sherry Beasley.

Thank you so much, and may God bless you richly.
