The Americans, This is a song that I first heard in the early seventies and is by a Canadian DJ by the name of Gordon Sinclair. I recorded it on a very cheap little tape recorder at the time.  This is a much improved copy that I obtained some time after that.  The references it makes to the deeds that we Americans have done are somewhat dated, but it still envokes the feeling it was written to envoke.  Download it and give it a listen, I'm sure that you will like it.  Especially so in these patriotic times.

Group Analyzer, This program was written to help analyze the precision (called accuracy by some) of a particular load / gun / shooter combination.  Traditionally this is done by measuring the group size, the distance between the two farthest impact holes.  While this is quick and easy, it isn’t the most accurate way to gauge the quality of the group.  For instance, a nice tight group with one flyer might equal a widely scattered group that just happens to have the two widest shots at the same distance.

There are better ways to gauge the precision of the group than just measuring the two widest shots.  These methods, for the more accurate ones, rely on statistics.  This program will run quickly and calculated the precision of your groups.  It will also offer suggested sight settings to you, thought these are really only for rifles with vernier sights.  Rifles like Black Powder Cartridge rifles.  The program will only run on Macintosh computers.  It will run on OS 9 or OS X.  Download it and give it a shot, so to speak.  Let me know if you have problems with it.

Inches / M.O.A. Converter, A very simple program to convert between "inches" and "Minutes of Angle".  Probably not a real huge need for a program such as this, but here it is anyway.  Go figure!  It also will run on OS 9  and OS X.
