Oral / Systems Review Gouge |
Last Updated |
| The first
day of review for the System Validation (the electronic
Oral). As we went through the review I highlighted the areas that the instructor was discussing / pointing out. I then copied these sections from the flight manual are reformatted them into a question format. I have made some parts of the text bold and/or italics for emphasis. Some small bits of information were added by me for clarification, these additions are generally at the end of a line or the question and are in italics. These questions come from the B-737 Flight Manual, Rev-44 and are for the B-737-300/500 systems review. Sorry, no 700/800/900 stuff here. |

| Here is an older, but nice, oral
review from Bill Bulfer - http://www.fmcguide.com/catalog/media/questions.pdf.
He is the know- ledgeable gentleman who writes "FMC Guides" and the "737 Cockpit Companions". If will definitely recommend his Cockpit Companion. It will tell you everything you want to know about any switch, light, system, etc. and has a great index that makes it easy to find the appropriate info. This is money well spent for the memory challenged folks like me. |

| Here is a gouge
that is a summary of questions that were missed on the electronic
oral. It was from a previous class, but probably not surprisingly a lot of the same questions were missed by people in my class. |

| Here are flight
profile sheets that describe the various flight & approach
profiles each on one page. A nice summary done by Bill Bulfer. Please check for accuracy and currency. |

| Here is a pretty good electrical schematic that shows what things are on each bus. It is for a generic B-737-300 | ? |
Below are some work guides that I threw together. They have nice to know but sometimes hard to remember & find information (at least hard to find when you want it quickly). I pulled the information from various sources and compiled it here, mainly to help cement the information in my mind more than anything else. If you find them useful please feel free to use them. If you see any blatant mistakes please let me know. I can't promise that I'll fix it quickly, or even get around to it,
but I'll do my best. Also I will update these as quick as I can
when the various sources are updated. They were sized to fit into
the plastic Jeppeson sleeves. On a Mac they'll probably come out
the right size, on a Windoze computer you'll have to play around with
the zoom factor (at the Windoze machine in the lobby I think I had to
use 105%) to get them the right size.
