Shan·gri-la (shăng'grĭ-lä')
n. 1.) An imaginary remote paradise on earth; utopia. 2.) A distant and secluded hideaway, usually of great beauty
and peacefulness. 3.) A fictional land of peace and perpetual youth; the setting for the 1933 novel Lost Horizon
by the English author James Hilton. 4.) A “Shangri-La,” by extension, is an ideal refuge from the troubles of
the world. 5.) Any place of complete bliss and delight and peace. Synonyms: eden, paradise, nirvana, heaven, promised land.
