Cake has been making great
music since 1991 and
making my ears feel good since
1998. I first heard Cake in
August of 1998 when I was
working one night with my dad.
I had to go in the other
room to get a slotted screwdriver
and "Frank Sinatra" was on the unattended
radio. I was entranced, then I ran
and got my dad so he could enjoy
the great music too. I waited to
hear what band it was, and a few
minutes later, I learned it
was Cake. We rushed out and bought
Motorcade of Generosity
that night. Two days
later, I went back for more and
purchased Fashion Nugget. That
October, Prolonging the Magic
was released.
The lyrics on my website
are merely a report of what I
hear when I listen to Cake. Same
with the bass tab. I could
