Free Adobe Acrobat Reader Working with the files

Following are registered genealogical reports and/or descendancy charts of my ancestry. These reports are in Adobe Acrobat format, *.pdf (portable document file). This format saves precious web space on servers. They can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader which is freely distributed/downloadable at the Adobe Acrobat website. To download the free reader, click on the "Get Acrobat" button. This link will also provide information and instructions for downloading and installing the reader.

The viewer is very easy to install and use. After downloading it, double-click on the file and it will install in a matter of moments. Once it is installed, all you have to do is select a *.pdf file (whether on the web or on your hard drive) and it will automatically open in the viewer. In the viewer you can easily jump from page to page and zoom in and out on any page or text.

Working with the *.pdf files

The following *.pdf files/reports are security locked - note the yellow key or yellow lock on the icon bar at the bottom of the Acrobat Reader when you have the file open. They can be viewed and downloaded for off-line viewing, but cannot be altered, copied or printed without clearance. Do note, they are all **Right protected** meaning they cannot be published in any format including electronically without my written permission. They can be quoted/cited provided correct footnotes/bibliographies formats are used - explicitly stating the report title, the writer, publishing dates, page numbers, this website as location of the report and the date you viewed the report.
There are several ways to view these files *in* the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
1. Clicking one of the 3 sheet icons that appear near the right of the icon bar: Actual size, Fit in Window, and Fit Width.
2. Clicking the magnifying glass icon on the left margin icon bar allows you to zoom in on a specific spot.
3. Clicking the small sheet of text on the icon bar at the bottom of the page, allows you to choose to view each page as a Single Page, Continuous, or Continuous - Facing pages. With the "Continuous" options, left mouse click the page and hold it down. It will easily move up and down the file.
Table of Contents are hyper-linked to the section pages.
Endnote # in the text are hyper-linked to the corresponding # in the Endnote sections.
You can move from page to page by scrolling up and down or by the page number option on the icon bar at the bottom of the page.

	AMIDON: "The Amidon Ancestry of Andrew Huntington Amidon" This is a .pdf (Adobe Acrobat file). Read the above instructions and information before viewing or downloading the report/file. Do note, this is * all the AMIDON information I have. What You See Is What I Have! Also I do not** have any AMIDON ancestry. This report was done for and in conjuctions with cousins that do have AMIDON roots.
	BILLINGTON: "Descendants of John¹ Billington" This is a *.pdf (Adobe Acrobat file). Read the above instructions and information before viewing or downloading the report/file. Do be aware I only have the descendants of my BILLINGTON line. 13 generation descendancy chart from John¹ to my generation.

Do be aware I only have the descendants of my BRADFORD line. 12 generation descendancy chart from the Governor to my generation.
	BRADLEY: "Descendancy Chart of George¹ Bradley" This is a *.pdf (Adobe Acrobat file). Read the above instructions and information before viewing or downloading the report/file. It is a descendancy chart with bibliography showing the descendants of George 1 BRADLEY, the progenitor/immigrant of my early New England BRADLEY line.
	BUSHNELL: "Descendants of Francis¹ Bushnell, Three Generations" This is a .pdf (Adobe Acrobat file). Read the above instructions and information before viewing or downloading the report/file. 	HUNTINGTON: "Descendancy Chart of Simon¹ Huntington: The Progenitor/Immigrant of the Early New England Huntingtons" This is a chart showing the descendants of Simon¹ HUNTINGTON, the progenitor/immigrant of the early New England HUNTINGTONs. This is not a *.pdf file. Do be aware I only have the descendants of my 2 HUNTINGTON lines. These are the only HUNTINGTONs I have information on in my database.
	LEFFINGWELL: "Descendants of Lt. Thomas¹ Leffingwell - 4 Generations" This is a .pdf (Adobe Acrobat file). This report includes: Table of Contents with page numbers hyperlinked to sections Descendancy Chart of 4 generations Report (17 pages) with the endnote numbers in text hyperlinked to the endnotes at the end of the report Bibliography Endnotes. If you click an endnote/footnote number in the text you will be taken automatically to the specific cite information.
