My father was one of four children, he having three sisters: Surepta, Sallie, and Fanny.
My mother was born at Oxford Miss., on November 9th, 1860, the daughter of Andrew Jackson Goolsby and Eliza.gif>Elizabeth Avent Goolsby. She was one of three children, she having Nettie.gif>two sisters: Ollie and Alyene.
It will be noted that I had no uncles. Since neither of my brothers, Dan or Drew, has any children, the family name becomes extinct with my generation.
