 Our Mission Statement

SF Ocean Edge supports active recreation with a win-win solution:

     Renovation of the existing grass fields with natural grass, better drainage and other construction methods, protection from gophers, and better maintenance;

     No night lighting -- it is bad for the environment and for the beauty of Ocean Beach in the evenings;

    Use of the remainder of the funding for other playing fields and parks, providing more recreation opportunities for children all over San Francisco;

    Preserving Golden Gate Park’s woodland and meadows for the enjoyment of San Franciscans today and as a heritage for future generations.
Volunteers are always needed - contact us if you are interested!
