The
San Francisco History Club is an informal group of amateur historians,
united in our interest in the San Francisco Bay area.
We
meet occaisionally for events and outings, a book exchange, presentations,
and general geeking out on the coolness of San Francisco. While
research is encouraged, the focus of club gatherings is on experiential,
hands-on activities. The scope of topics covered is not limited
to a certain time period or subject, but is instead open to all
San Francisco-related topics of significance or curiosity; events
are member-organized, and meetings offer members a forum for presentation
and discussion of their personal interests and knowledge. Membership
is free, all you have to do is join our mailing list. |
