Sea Kayaking Experience

10 days solo in Everglades National Park, paddling and camping from Hell's Bay Canoe Trail near Flamingo to Everglades City, navigating by compass and nautical chart, carrying all water and food, January 1993.

Paddled and camped on the islands off Stonington, Maine, for 7 days with one companion in October 1992.

Day trips and shorter camping trips in Florida area, both fresh and saltwater: Fernandina Beach, Canaveral Seashore, the Indian River Lagoon, Banana River, Loxahatchie River, St. Lucie River, Biscayne Bay, Ten Thousand Islands, Cayo Costa, Sarasota, Tampa Bay, Bayport, Cedar Key, Silver Springs, Juniper Springs, Suwannee River, Santa Fe River, Peace River, Okefenokee Swamp, St. Augustine, St Johns River.
